This project falls under the Education department. Like any normal population the Coast is endowed with diverse talent. There are musicians, dramatists/theatrics, athletes, marshal artists, sportsmen etc. most youth excel in these talents in school but do not further their skills after completing formal school curriculum because they lack connection to such talent centers in the region. Some very talented youth end up in drugs, beach boys, prostitution and crime. Others lose hope and just rot in poverty at their homes.

Kenya has very few such centers yet each is specialized in one talent promotion. The Athletics training center in Item is the most famous. Youth from the Rift valley region excel in athletics because of the training and mentorship they get from the center and because it’s proximal to their homes they enroll and excel. Although the center invites participants from other counties in Kenya few are able to enroll due to the exorbitant cost of enrollment into the program. In addition few Kenyans appreciate the talent field as a source of livelihood.

The other talent that has been promoted successfully in the country is the art of playing instrumentals in the Rift valley academy.  This is a high cost school where students are taught various skills in use of music instruments. Until mid-2000s the School was dominated by the white citizens. Today the rest of the Kenyan elite take their children for mentorship there. The high cost of talent growth and mentorship locks out a lot of potential artists from the poor communities.

Football is one of the most adored sports in Kenya. Every boy dreams to be a star immediately they are enrolled into their first match. They however never grow to see the fulfillment of these dreams. This is because of lack of opportunities for growth of this sport in the village yet a bigger population of the youth still live in the rural Kenya. There is lack of sponsorship and mentorship.
